About Webcasts
GTIPI Webcasts take place in an online, virtual classroom that allows the delivery of a PowerPoint presentation. Some webcasts are self-guided and self-paced within course guidelines for completion. Others have live communication with participants through both text messaging and audio communication, much like a face-to-face seminar.

Advance registration is required. You may need to run a brief Setup Wizard on your computer prior to the Webcast. Detailed instructions, log-in information, and connection details will be sent to registered participants.

If your webcast includes live communication, you will need computer speakers or a headset to hear the presenter speak. To respond to the presenter and/or other participants you can either text message, speak via two-way audio, or dial in by telephone. Text messaging is open to all participants, and is a good alternative for those who cannot communicate through the two-way audio component. If you wish to participate via audio communication, you will need a computer headset/microphone.

CPS CEU Webcast
In order to assist Georgia's CPS Technicians in re-certifying, GTIPI developed this new, self-paced CPS Technician Workshop that will allow techs to earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to maintain their certification. The workshop meets all requirements established by the National CPS Board and Safe Kids Worldwide because the content is designed to improve CPS knowledge through technical updates. Each technician completing all requirements of the CEU Webcast by the due date will receive a certificate of attendance as documentation for re-certification. The CEU Webcast is free of charge.

NOTE:
You CANNOT receive credit for attending both the GTIPI face-to-face CEU course, AND this CEU Webcast. They are credited as the same course.
